A short film based on a real story of torture in the Russian police force involving a young artist who participated in street protests against the Ukrainian war. Alisa and Zhenya are a young couple deeply in love despite their opposing political views. When war breaks out between Russia and Ukraine, Alisa joins the protests and finds herself at a police station. This event becomes a turning point in their relationship, pushing them to the brink.

A short film exploring the theme of the constant pursuit of perfection. Penelope, a beautiful and successful woman in her late thirties, decides to undergo nose surgery. The operation is successful, and her new nose is stunning. However, instead of feeling happy, she becomes obsessed with her new nose and eventually returns to the surgeon, asking him to revert her face to its previous version.

Elena Nenasheva director

Elena Nenasheva is a theatre and film director and producer. 

In 2023 she successfully graduated from London Film Academy MA Filmmaking (distinction degree). In the film industry, she works as both a writer, director, and producer (Alisa, Perfection) or as a producer only (Human Nature, Send Noodz).

In 2019 she graduated from Moscow Art Theatre School (distinction degree). In 2016-2022 she developed more than 30 theatre and event productions as a director, half of them also produced. 

Elena has deep experience in immersive, site-specific, and participatory theatre, including productions in various unique locations such as museums, hotels, factories, apartments, and forests.

Since 2017 she participated in many International theatre festivals: Golden Mask, Tolstoy, New drama, Lubimovka, Our Theme, Flash acts and created productions for Russia, Hungary, Estonia, Uzbekistan and USA.

In 2019, The Version of Seagull performance was nominated for the leading Russian theatre award, Golden Mask, in four categories: Best Performance, Best Director, Best Set Designer, and Best Leading Female Role.

In 2021 Elena  became a silver medalist of the experimental site-specific competition 'Theatre without borders' holding by the biennale of theatrical art 'Directing lessons’.

In 2021 Elena was included in the list of the best young artists in Russia by Theatre magazine.

In 2022 Elena left Russia due to her public anti-war position, currently she is living and working in London.
